“Just collect what you like!” - advice often given and strictly followed by Sarah Gordon Goddard, founder and principal behind Goddard Collective. The daughter of a custom home builder and interior designer, Sarah Gordon grew up in a highly curated and distinctively styled environment, and carried these attributes with her in the furnishing and design of her own home. After attending a few live auctions, she caught the “collector’s bug” and started scouting estate sales, auctions and antique shops regularly for unique and timeless finds. After renovations, constant refurnishing and hosting regular dinner parties, she ended up finding that her passions revolved around her home. “Creating an experience for guests that incorporates good design, good food and good company is really what it’s all about,” she says.
Goddard Collective offers interior design services, antique and vintage furniture sourcing and styling sessions.
Sarah Gordon holds a professional certificate in Interior Decorating from University of Richmond.
